Tom has been part of CPCC for more than 30 years, progressing from a junior to become a long-serving senior player and club leader. An opening batsman for most of his career, he has been a consistent top-order presence across multiple grades.

Tom captained three premiership sides at the club: the T20 Cup in 2011/12, 3rd Grade in 2013/14, and 2nd Grade in 2022/23. His standout season came in 2022/23, when he scored 491 runs at 37.8, the highest aggregate in the association’s 2nd Grade competition.

Away from the crease, Tom has also contributed heavily off the field. He has served as CPCC Club Secretary since 2017/18 and is a three-time England tourist, organising the club’s 2023 tour.
